Europe Rocks

Seriously, they've got more stuff than just 'The Final Countdown'; I know, shocking!

I'm currently listening to 'Rock The Night'. I downloaded their whole discography.

My brother and grandparents are in town for labour day, and I've been neglecting JKA >___< My watch didn't go off for the meeting (I'm part of the temporary council too!)

Ultra Beatdown

Currently I am listening to a liberated (read: pirated) copy of DragonForce's new Album, 'Ultra Beatdown' and I'm someone saddened.

This album, while up to par on guitar-shredding-awesomeness, lacks the all-out, epic, adrenaline gushing lyrics found in their previous album, Inhuman Rampage.
For the most part the songs have switched from war and battle (as found in 'Revolution Deathsquad' and 'Operation Ground and Pound') lyrics to more base fantasy lyrics as were found in 'Fields of Despair' and 'Heart of a Dragon' from their older albums.

Personally, I was hoping for something like 'Body Breakdown' as far as lighter lyrics go, but still it is not all bad. Many of the songs still contain lyrics that inspire me greatly (especially the use of 'Star Chaser' in 'Heroes of our Time')

That is not to say that 'Sonic Firestorm' and 'Valley of the Damned' ('Soldiers of the Wasteland' remains one of my favorite songs ever) But I was hoping for more of their progressive style.

I'm listening to it again, however, for I often miss the awesome in songs the first time I listen to them (I didn't like 'Body Breakdown' after the first time I heard it)

I'm hoping for them to show up on Guitar Hero IV

School

I was very excited about school starting back.

Then I remembered that school bites.

Posting from beneath a Rock

Ever have those moments where you want to die? Yeah, I had that.

Some people got on Jedi Academy, I saw their connection name and thought that one of them was Hashiba, Someone who has a reputation of irreverence and general boisterousness. They weren't doing anything at first, but they quickly moved to using the clan's private chat (which is password protected) and Hatamoto Level Admin Powers (Also passworded, I don't even have this power)

I knew Hashiba Had Hatamoto powers so I told him to drop the act and the two quickly spiralled into slinging racist slurs (by slinging, I mean that's all that they said. No, Seriously. EVER SENTENCE) and killing me with guns. After a while (this while included using their power to kick me from the server) They claimed to be AZ (Our long time enemies who lack any respect whatsoever and were originally and still mostly are, rebels that we've kicked from our clan) and eventually left. I made a thread about it on the forums.

Heres where things start sucking.

I said that I thought it was Hashiba, based on very good evidence (Same manner of speech, Same connection name, Same Powers, Hash was signed into the forums while this was happening) and in his first post Hashiba said "lol dude, it wasnt me" I have problems with reading comprehension (see wikipedia article, dyspraxia) and saw it as "lol dude, it was me" which then lead me to scold him. He retaliated (along with his like minded cohorts) by cursing at me for about two pages. Eventually, After being told off by other members of the clan, I looked back at the first page and saw my mistake.

Dang.

I appologized and left it there but man I want to just curl up and die. Now, I still think that it might have been him, somewhere in the back of my mind. But for now I accept his claim otherwise. If he ever reads this, I'd like to say I'm sorry if it wasn't you, if it was, then man I'm going to hunt you down.

In other news, I drew something really awesome in artclass today (so awesome infact that I stole my Sketchbook from the room just to scan it)

Computer Problems

I am back from Tennessee, and while I did write on my PDA while there, I for some reason am unable to sync with my desktop, rendering it useless. I'll transfer manually later...
Today was the first day of school and I am very excited with my classes and am eager to see how this goes.

Back on my computer issues, I managed to get a terminal running as my wallpaper (see attached file) which makes me quite happy, though there are still a few bugs.

I got very little writing while I was gone, but I am getting closer to completing chapter IV

**EDIT**
Oh! Additionally, I am quite ticked at Russia. We are currently signing with Poland to build a Missile Defense System to protect against Russian attacks. Russia sees this as a sign of distrust, calls us paranoid and threats to invade us as soon as they're done screwing over Georgia. Paranoid Indeed.

Short Vacation

I'm leaving to take Brother off to college, so I won't post until Wednesday, I will however write while I am gone and will likely release a very large post upon returning.

School is starting soon.

I've abandoned the Idea of renaming Selah to Rachel. Mostly because I just remembered that I already named Dante's Sister (who will be appearing in the chapter that I am currently writing) Rachel. I'll still be looking for another name though.

Mainspring

Today I purchased Jay Lake's 'Mainspring' and I am quite curious as to the blasphemy that I have stumbled upon. Still I shall keep reading with eager anticipation of some form of Christian return in this book. I shall be regretful if it turns out as another 'Religion is a Scam' story.
Not that I specifically mind such tales. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Luminous Arc are both quite enjoyable games; but books do not excite my tactical prowess.

Currently I am researching Jay Lake in hopes of learning more.

Note: I may be changing the name of Selah (Third Angel) to Rachel, thus keeping with the theme of biblical names; Unless of course I find someone named Selah in the bible.

A theme!

007
Ah, Two days without writing. I'll try not to make it a habit.
I've decided on a theme for this blog though. I shall make it about my writing. Keep track of ideas and so on and so forth.
Hopefully this will work better than writing it down.

Anchored

So, I'm not writing this one from my PDA like I have previously, Mostly because it's kinda late and I'm at my computer.

Brother and I went and got fifty dollars off of an eighty dollar laptop bag at Circuit City today, They got pretty mad, but they had a 'match price +10% of competitor's price' policy.

The right way to do things

006
Today I thought, 'What if I'm blogging wrong?' Honestly, I've never even read a blog and haven't the faintest idea of what to do. I figure I that I will continue as-is until someone informs me otherwise.
I've been playing Final Fantasy VII quite a bit lately, I never made it very far before but I had to start over and I'm still not caught up.
I've also been playing Final Fantasy III for the DS, I accidently erased my old record (I was right at the end, too!) so I had to start over. I feel that I'm doing much better than I had previously.

Strange thing, When I went to post this, It told me that there was a problem with my cookie for the site. I had to clear my Cache to get it to login.

The Origin Story

005
I suppose I should reveal why I chose to start a Blog. I was mostly inspired by the webcomic 'xkcd' which often mentions blogging.
This, however is not the only reason. I find writing very enjoyable and do not talk much so this seemed a fine way to record things without paper.

I went to the orthodontist today, they added some hooks and said I'd be extremely sore for a few days. I don't feel it yet.

War Games

004
I saw War Games today; amazing movie. It made me really want to play my PDA in chess. I use GNU2 and it beats me at every turn!
Blasted machine...

Pet Peeves

003
Days seem to pass very slowly now; very monotonous. I'm very sleepy...

I'm compiling a list of pet peeves:
1. Misuse of 'two', 'to' and 'too' (including the use of 2).
2. The use of the term 'me three' following 'me too'.
3. The term 'chillax'.
4. Smoking

I'll continue later.

Convinience

002
Summer is hard. It's so hot and there's nothing to do.
Curiously, I cannot indent on my computer (tab cycles through links on the page) but indention on the PDA is quite easy.

It's neat though, being able to write anywhere. I woke up the other day and scribbled in a dream I had. It was one of those dreams where you set out to do something; to save the world. I'm not sure exactly what it was about, but I'll give a summary and then probably do an artistic rendering of it into a shortstory.
